Engaging Academic Programs

Tailored grade-specific programs combat summer learning loss, cultivate friendships, and bolster social skills. Certified instructors lead engaging math and reading enrichment sessions aligned with Illinois academic standards, ensuring a sharp learning curve for our first through fourth-grade participants. Meanwhile, fifth through eighth grade Wiz Kids benefit from daily academic sessions that accelerate achievement and instigate curiosity, blending core subjects with STEAM, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and debate. Our diverse range of electives in fine arts, chess, coding, drama, and media production further enriches their learning journey. These comprehensive enrichment programs take place in our unique maker space environments, equipped with the necessary assets to provide a transformative learning experience for all participants.

Athletics & Activities

Complementing our academic focus, our core activities promote fitness and athleticism, catering to all skill levels, ranging from novice to high-performing enthusiasts. Our seasoned coaches oversee activities including basketball, baseball, volleyball, cheer, track, tennis, tumbling, karate, soccer, and swimming, offering abundant choices for our Wiz Kids to pursue their interests.

Friday Field Trips

To cap off each exciting camp week, Fridays are reserved for thrilling field trips to venues like the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Raging Waves, Enchanted Castle, Challenger Learning Center, and the Museum of Surgical Sciences, promising unique experiences for our summer participants!

Morning Extended Care: Science Club (optional)

The fascinating world of discovery and innovation kicks off this pre-camp day segment.This is designed to cultivate curiosity and problem-solving.Each day offers a new challenge, as this program immerses participants in hands-on experiments and collaborative projects that unlock the mysteries of STEM while fostering creativity and critical thinking skills.​

Afternoon Extended Care: Board Gamers Club (optional)

This is the post-camp day segment where the Wiz Kids get to discover a realm of engaging games that entertain and challenge, and offer an immersive experience packed with laughter, competition, and the joy of triumph.With two distinct skill groups, younger participants (1st through 3rd grade) will explore classic tabletop games, honing numeracy, literacy, and decision-making skills.Older campers (4th through 8th grade) will delve into advanced gaming, testing critical thinking, patience, and resilience while enjoying thrilling challenges and camaraderie.

Deposits & Refunds

WY Campus Deposit Policy

  • A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to complete the initial registration.
  • Deposits are non- refundable and nontransferable to other Wiz Kids Camps programs.

WY Campus Tuition Refund Policy

All cancellations must be in writing and submitted to Wiz Kids Foundation. If a cancellation occurs anytime prior to April 15, 2024, 100% of tuition and/or activity/ elective related payments (less the non-refundable deposit) will be returned. If cancellation occurs anytime between April 16, 2023 and May 16, 2024, 40% of camp fees will be withheld. After May 16, 2024, 100% of all paid tuition related camp fees will be withheld. Balances for all camp programs must be paid in full by June 11, 2024 in order to complete enrollment. We cannot guarantee placement in camp if balances are outstanding after that date.

Late Payments

Tuition accounts with outstanding balances after June 11, 2024 will automatically be assessed a $50 convenience fee​

WY Campus Extended Care Refund Policy

All cancellations must be in writing and submitted to Wiz Kids Foundation. Refunds for extended care are fully refundable 72 hours prior to the start of the applicable camp week for which this option was originally purchased. Fees will be withheld for cancellations that are made within or after the 72-hour time window.

WY Campus Outstanding Balance Policy

All balances must be settled prior to the start of the camp season. Campers will not be eligible to attend until outstanding tuition obligations have been met. No exceptions.
