Wiz Kids Flight Academy
This is a specialty program designed to immerse young learners in the world of aviation. Hosted on the campus of Lewis University, this two-week experience gives students access to professional flight simulators, drone operations, hands-on engineering projects, and exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of real aviation facilities.Unlike a traditional day camp, Flight Academy offers a focused, high-impact learning environment where students explore the science of flight, build technical skills, and work together in “flight crews” to solve real-world challenges. With small group sizes and guidance from aviation experts, participants gain confidence, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of aerospace pathways.

Our expert instructional team sets the Flight Academy apart. Campers learn from aviation professionals, certified educators, and FAA-trained drone specialists who bring real-world experience directly into the classroom and simulator lab. Guest pilots and aviation experts round out the experience, offering campers authentic insights and inspiring connections to future career pathways.
