Below are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding camp. If your question is not listed below, please call us for clarification.

In what grade should I register my child?

Your child should be registered for the grade they will enter into in Fall 2020.

Is extended care available?

Yes! We offer morning extended care from 7am-7:45am, and evening extended care from 5:30pm-6:15pm. A weekly surcharge does apply.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, there are a variety of payment plans available. You may select the payment plan that best fits your needs at the time of registration.  All payment plans end on June 10, 2020, when camp balances are due.

What are the enrollment options?

We offer enrollment options of 7, 8 and 9 weeks. If you choose a 7 or 8 week option, you will have the option to select the exact weeks your camper attends during registration.  Parents may also opt to enroll children into either of the available 4-week session options.

Does the Loop campus offer morning and afternoon shuttle service?

Yes, we have offer morning and afternoon shuttle service at designated locations in Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, River North, Bronzeville, Chinatown, the South Loop, Greektown and the West Loop.  This service is offered at no additional cost, as a convenience to parents who want to avoid the rush hour congestion.

Do you conduct staff background checks?

Yes; background checks are one of the necessary precautions we undertake to keep our campers safe. We run full criminal history background checks on every member of our staff. Camper safety is our number one priority!

When do I select my child's activities?

You select your child’s activities during registration. Classes that have not reached maximum capacity will show up during the registration process. A number of our activities fill quickly, so make sure to register early!

What is the refund policy for the 2020 camp season?

Extended Care and Lunch Refund Policy:  All cancellations must be in writing and submitted to Wiz Kids Camps, LLC.  Refunds for extended care or lunch are fully refundable up until 72-hours prior to the start of the upcoming camp week for which these program options were originally purchased.  Fees will be withheld for cancellations that are made within or after the 72-hour time window.

Camp Tuition and Activity/Elective Refund Policy: All cancellations must be in writing and submitted to Wiz Kids Camps, LLC. If a cancellation occurs anytime prior to April 22, 2020, 100% of tuition and/or activity/elective related payments (less the non-refundable fee) will be returned. If cancellation occurs anytime between April 22, 2020 and May 22, 2020, 40% of camp fees will be withheld. After May 22, 2020, 100% of all paid tuition related camp fees will be withheld.

Trip Fee Refund Policy: All cancellations for 7th or 8th grade trips must be in writing and submitted to Wiz Kids Camps, LLC. If a cancellation occurs anytime prior to April 22, 2020, 100% of trip related payments will be returned. If cancellation occurs anytime between April 22, 2020 and June 21, 2020, 50% of paid trip fees will be withheld. After June 21, 2020, 100% of all paid trip fees will be withheld.

What are the late payment and outstanding balance policies?

Late Payments: Tuition accounts with outstanding balances after June 10, 2020 will be assessed a $100 convenience fee. No exceptions.

Outstanding balances: All balances must be settled prior to the start of the camp season.  Campers will not be eligible to attend until outstanding tuition obligations have been closed. No exceptions.
