Below are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding camp. If your question is not listed below, please call us for clarification.

In what grade should I register my child?

Your child should be registered for the grade they will enter into in Fall 2018.

Is extended care available?

Yes! We offer AM extended care from 7am-7:45am, and evening extended care from 5:30pm-6:15pm. A weekly surcharge does apply for extended care.

What happens on Fridays?

On Fridays, our campers participate in Field Trips and special events.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, there are a variety of payment plans available. You may select the payment plan that best fits your needs at the time of registration.


All payment plans end on May 15, 2018, when camp balances are due. 

Do you offer lunch as part of the program?

No; we ask that students bring their own lunch every day. We do provide healthy morning and afternoon snacks Monday-Thursday.

What if my child cannot attend all 9 weeks of camp?

We offer enrollment options of 7, 8 and 9 weeks. If you choose a 7 or 8 week option, you will choose the weeks your camper attends during registration.

We require a minimum enrollment of 7 weeks.

Do you conduct staff background checks?

Yes; we feel background checks are a necessary precaution for keeping our campers safe. We run full criminal history background checks on every member of our staff. Our students’ safety is our number one priority!

When do I select my child's activities?

You select your child’s activities during registration. Classes that have not reached maximum capacity will show up during the registration process. A number of our activities fill quickly, so make sure to register early!

What is the student-to-staff ratio for HF Kids Institute?

Our academic classroom student:staff ratio is 20:1 for each certified instructor.

Our core activities student:staff ratio is 10:1.

What is the refund policy?

All cancellations must be in writing and submitted to Wiz Sports Camps, LLC. If cancellation occurs anytime prior to April 1, 2018, 100% of the payment (less the $250 deposit) will be refunded. If cancellation occurs anytime between April 2 and May 1, 2018, 40% of camp fees will be withheld. If cancellation occurs anytime after May 1, 2018, 100% of all fees will be withheld.
